The English House offers opportunities for people of all levels to learn English under the direction of native speakers. It is our goal to help guide our students on their English learning journeys in a way that builds both their knowledge of the language and also their confidence in their own abilities to make the most of the opportunities that are available to people with bilingual skills. By emphasizing our use of native speakers as teachers we are able to go beyond the technicalities and also focus on the flow and feel of the language that can be so elusive. English House Video.

By becoming an intern you have the opportunity to serve between 3-12 months in a variety of ways. By helping teach English you are opening the door for Mexicans to understand and communicate in English as a very valuable skill on the border. It greatly expands career and education opportunities in our region. Many jobs require a certain degree of English competence and many universities require English specific testing for graduation.
